Razer has just launched the long awaited gaming laptop, the 14-inch Razer Blade 2017. The new gadget brings some new features, such as an improved CPU or faster memory, but the top feature is the variant with 4K UHD touchscreen display.
The new Razer Blade is more powerful and more efficient than its predecessor. For example, it sports a stronger CPU, the latest generation Intel Core i7 quadcore processor. This CPU is way quicker and its pairing with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 video card is one of the best combinations ever, as granted by the company.
The laptop is thin and light, so you can carry it with you everywhere. It has a CNC aluminum casing, measures only 0.7 inches and weighs around four pounds. The touchscreen variant comes with a standard FHD model and is a premiere for Razer’s gaming laptops.
Min-Liang Tan, the CEO and founder of Razer, declared that they surpassed the performance standard in thin laptop with the new Razer Blade. The previous version had already encountered incredible popularity in 2016, so they expected the new model to become even more popular, as it would be available on a wider range.
The laptop is meant for gaming, but it scored great results in other fields, too. Many people made great use of its power and portability in software development, music industry, or video editing.
The other specs and features of the new Razer Blade include 16 GB RAM which are DDR4 dual channel and run at 2,400 MHz. You also have storage options of up to 1 TB on SSD. The networking is Killer Wireless-AC, with Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.
Also, it is furnished with 3 USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5 mm combo port for microphone and headphones, a 2 MP webcam, and an anti-ghosting keyboard powered by Razer Chroma.
The Razer Blade 2017 standard FHD model can be purchased in the United States for the price of $1,899. It is also available in Canada, UK, Germany, and France. At the moment, you can purchase it from Razer’s official online store but, starting February 20th, it will be available in any retail point. It will be available in the rest of the world in March, and the special touchscreen version will be released later this year.
