Version 8.0 of Evernote app is now available

Evernote is one of the most popular note taking apps for millions of users. A new version is now available. Version 8.0 is meant to bring many improvements that will make it easier of users to organize and interact with information.

One of the main updates of the newer version includes a better management of the notes. Users can now personalize their notes to make them easier to find. They can add different colors or styles and, thus, they will be able to find the information they need more quickly. Also, creating a new note is easier now. All they have to do is tap on the screen and they can immediately start composing the new note.

Evernote discussed other updates in a blog post. The interface is now more user friendly, making the app easier to use. Do you have quite a bulky collection of notes? You should no longer worry, since you can scan through them and find what you are looking for in no time. How is that possible? The list of your notebooks is available on top of the screen and you can tap it and select whatever you need even when you already have a note open. This allows for the switch from one notebook to another more quickly, without having to exit the open note.

Evernote has new features even for the more organized of us. Do you think you can manage your information better if you use tags or reminders? Evernote thought of this, too. You can set reminders on the more urgent notes and then browse through them by tapping the alarm clock on top of the note list. Also, you can now set different tags to the notes. The tag button is there, too, to help you filter through the tag list and select only the notes you are looking for.

The Evernote app is available for iOS users on every iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. It can be downloaded for free, together with the new version. However, the free version is only available for syncing two devices at a time. Unlimited syncing is provided by two paid services: Evernote Plus, with 1GB of uploads per month and offline access to notes; Evernote Premium comes with 10GB of uploads per month and offers more benefits, like PDF annotation, search inside Office documents, and more.
