During a pre-E3 press conference, Bethesda announced that a new title is on its way. The game in question will serve as a sequel to Arkane Studios’ title Dishonored. It will come as an independent game, and not a DLC, as it was previously suggested, and will revive an old-time favorite and bring her back into the spotlight.
The latest Dishonored game brings Billie back
The game, called Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, will bring back Billie Lurk, pirate and former assassin. She, who has now received cybernetic enhancements, will have to save her ex-master, Daud, the Knife of Dunwall, who murdered Empress Jessamine Kaldwin.
After rescuing Daud from the mysterious ship he was being captive on, they have a new target to kill. He is the Outsider, the supernatural embodiment of pure chaos, who feeds both Daud’s power and the power of the previous titles’ protagonists, Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano.
Dual setup with changing mechanics, depending on the character you choose
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will not come as a DLC for any of the previous games, but it will serve as an individual release. It will feature a PC version, as well as Xbox One and PS4 version, which can be grabbed both as physical copies or digital download.
The trailer suggest that the same voice actors will take the roles of Billie and Daud, namely Rosario Dawson and Michael Madsen respectively. You will be able to select your preferred character so, if you are already familiar with Dishonored 2, you know how the story and the mechanics on the game change, depending on the character you have selected.
If we’re made you curious, you will have to wait until September 15th to get the game. As mentioned above, it will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, for only $29.99.
