Dell brings us the first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop. The product was launched on May 31 at Computex 2016, the most important IT trade fair in Asia. Along with the Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1, Dell has unveiled even more products ideal for students, entrepreneurs, and families. They’re designed to meet all the everyday needs of users, while still being affordable.

Dell products are ideal for price-conscious consumers who still seek excellent quality.

You may not consider a 2-in-1 design to be innovative at this point, but until now, laptop manufacturers only offered the option on 13-inch devices at most. This makes the 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop a rare sight on the laptop market. With the new Inspiron model, Dell wants to step up the game by proving that even bigger screens can be flipped over as well.

On the inside, it features sixth-gen Intel Core processors, which brings top performance to the average user. As for input options, it includes USB Type-C and USB 3.0.  The USB Type-C is compatible with the external battery pack, which will bring you up to six more hours of use. The USB Type-C can also connect to devices via HDMI with an optional adapter.

But let’s look at how it moves. After all, Dell brings us the first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop. The versatile 360-degree hinge allows for four work modes. You can leave it as a laptop, bend it like a tent, put it on stand mode (if you want to watch a movie, for example), or use it like a tablet.

The backlit keyboard makes it very easy to use even in low-light environments. The keyboard also comes with a 10-key numeric keypad, which will come in handy to users who work with data. It’s also the brightest Inspiron yet. The display has 44 percent more pixels than its 17-inch predecessors.

The infrared camera works with Windows Hello, which means you can log onto your laptop by simply giving it a glance. The Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio software will bring your multimedia experience to a new high, and the touchpad brings precise pointing and gesture recognition.

As for the price, Inspiron 13-in, 15-in and 17-in 7000 2-in-1s will start at US $749. It will be available beginning Thursday, June 2, on Dell’s official website, in the United States and China. They’re ideal for price-conscious consumers who still seek excellent quality.
